Bear Timbers log cabin on the Shenandoah River

This log style cabin has it all. Whether you just want to get away and relax or celebrate a romantic weekend, Bear Timber’s has it all. House sits on Shenandoah river, has hot tub, fire pit, and canoes. A short walk down to the river from the back porch you will have your own private riverbank. Swim in the river, canoe, fish, and then come back for a relaxing dip in the hot tub or sit out by the fire pit.

The house is fully equipped with pots, pans, dish ware, gas BBQ grill, gas fireplace/stove, TVs, Internet, both a screened and open porch. Washer and dryer on premises along with a dishwasher. All you need is your food and clothes. Everything else is available to make your stay worry free. This is a very clean modern cabin with rustic touches to make you feel right at home. High quality mattresses and bedding will give you restful sleep in absolute silence.

Close to 2 ski resorts - 50 minutes to Massenutten Ski Resort and 60 minutes to Bryce Ski Resort

Note: You cannot see the river from the house, which is a short walk down the driveway. The back of the property opens up to a beautiful view of the river. The Property Fee includes a $10 nightly fee for firewood, which is maintained on the property for your use.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Twenty-five percent (25.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 48 hours after booking if arrival is at least 30 days away at time of booking.
